Both teams are on something of a roll, so something’s got to give this evening. Barcelona have won 30 of their last 34 matches in all competitions, though a nine-game winning streak came to an end with a 2-2 draw at Sevilla last weekend. The hosts meanwhile are only three games into their current winning run, but just won the French League Cup by beating Bastia 4-0, are unbeaten in 24 home matches, and haven’t lost at home in Europe for 33 games, a run that dates back to a 4-2 defeat by Hapoel Tel Aviv in the 2006/07 Uefa Cup.
